Trencadís BCN
Trencadís — that mosaic of irregular shards covering half of Barcelona — is a technique, not a signature. This design applies it from scratch: hundreds of tiles drawn one by one, copying no existing mosaic, to spell BCN.

What it is
The letters BCN in wide type filled with irregular tesserae — properly irregular joints — and a palette that descends from blue to red the way the city descends from Tibidabo to the sea.
The wink
Trencadís began as broken tiles rescued for reuse; this version recycles the whole idea — classic technique, entirely new drawing.
How to wear it
The only full-colour design in the catalogue, made for light garments, where the whole palette gets room to breathe.
